Steamed Fillet of Fish

Ingredients

  • ¼ oz black Ffungi
  • 1 ½ lbs fish
  • 2 tbsp low sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp ginger
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tsp peanut oil
  • 1 oz bamboo shoots
  • 1 oz green onion
  • 1 oz black fungi
  • Pinch sugar
  • Pinch white pepper
  • Pinch salt

Preparation

  1. Rehydrate ¼ oz black Fungi in water for 20 minutes and shred.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine soy sauce, cornstarch, ginger, oyster sauce, and peanut oil.
  3. Coat the fish in the mixture and place in a bowl.
  4. Add bamboo shoot and green onion and steam.
  5. While steaming, add a pinch of sugar, white pepper, black fungi, and salt.
