Student Housing offers multiple housing options ideally suited for the various members of our student population. Please review information about each option to help you select one that best fits your needs.
The Park Apartments and Suites (Undergraduate and Graduate Housing
Designed with a college student in mind, The Park Apartments and Suites are a short walk from campus and offer supportive, inclusive and safe on-campus living options with a focus on equal parts academics and fun.
The Suites (Freshmen and Sophomores)
The Suites are a unique living concept designed for freshmen and sophomores and is a recommended option for freshmen. With added academic support combined with events and activities that make it easy to get to know your neighbors and make lifelong friends, students living in The Suites often have an easier time adjusting to college life and do better socially and academically.
The Park Apartments
The Park Apartments are spacious apartments ideal for continuing or transfer students — although freshmen can also choose this option — and offer a more private living environment in a two-bedroom apartment shared among four students.
Learning Communities
Learning Communities allow students to live in a building or a floor dedicated to a major, academic program or a specific theme. In this highly collaborative structure, each community offers its own social activities, events and academic support.

Accessibility Options
Housing works closely with the Disability Resources and Educational Services (DRES) and the National Center on Deafness (NCOD) to support student success and ensuring access for students living with disabilities.
Gender Inclusive Housing
Gender Inclusive Housing allows for students to live with roommates and suitemates regardless of gender identity. Students who select Gender Inclusive Housing agree to live with and create a welcoming environment for students of any gender identity.
The Village Apartments (Family Housing)
Located in a park-like setting at the north end of campus, these unfurnished one- and two-bedroom apartments offer convenience, comfort and peace of mind for CSUN students with families.
Family Housing
The Village Apartments are designed for CSUN students with dependent children and/or spouses. This family-focused housing option offers a family friendly environment in a parklike, gated community that helps students and their families thrive.
