Community Center
Hours: 6 a.m.-2 a.m. 7 days per week.
The Community Center in Building 18 at CSUN Student Housing offers a variety of services and resources to enhance the social and academic experiences of students living in on campus. We promote overall well-being and foster a sense of community, serving as a valuable resource for students, staff, and visitors.
Our goal is to create a safe, secure, and service-oriented atmosphere where everyone feels comfortable and supported.
All housing residents have access to the Community Center 20 hours a day. Student assistants are available at the front desk seven days a week, ready to assist students with any questions or concerns.
As one of the few facilities in student housing open for extended hours, the Community Center offers a wealth of resources for students throughout the academic year.

Residents of student housing can rely on the Community Center for any housing-related questions or to inquire about lost items; we have a lost and found cabinet available for students. Whether seeking support, social connections, or opportunities for personal growth, the Community Center provides a nurturing environment that caters to a variety of needs.
Learning Center
Hours: 8 a.m.-12 a.m. 7 days per week.
Tutoring Hours: Sunday-Thursday, 7-11 p.m.
The Learning Center in Building 21 located in CSUN Student Housing, is dedicated to addressing the academic needs of students.
The Learning Center provides a comfortable and convenient environment for studying, such as designated study rooms. The Learning Center is also home to The Spot, a tutoring service available from Sunday – Thursday from 7-11 p.m.
Unlike the Community Center, the Learning Center offers a quieter atmosphere with less foot traffic, making it ideal for students seeking a quiet study environment. Additionally, it includes a communal kitchen for residents living in suite apartments or apartments without a kitchen. The center also features a Multi-Purpose Room (MPR) used for various affinity group events, staff meetings, and RHA events throughout the school year.
