Guest Housing
California State University, Northridge offers several hotel-style guest housing suites at a nightly rate. The guest suites offer a wide range of amenities, including the convenience of being in walking distance of classrooms, laboratories, administrative offices and other campus facilities.
Guests utilizing these suites must be affiliated with the educational mission of the university, such as:
- Visiting professors
- College administrators from other campuses conducting business at CSUN
- Parents of students who reside in CSUN residence halls
- Participants in university programs and workshops
Please note:
Internet is now available, but landline phones are not available.
Only the ground floor suite is Americans with Disabilities Act-accessible with the same amenities as the standard rooms.

Cleaning service and linen exchange is provided for guests staying longer than seven days. There is a $30 fee for additional cleaning or linen exchange requests.
Feature
Guests will enjoy a combination of contemporary style and a relaxed approach to hospitality. Each suite is one bedroom and one bath. It also includes the following features.

A flat-screen living room TV and a flat-screen bedroom TV that includes free Direct TV.

Alarm clock, iron and ironing board, and blow dryer

Kitchen with refrigerator, stove, microwave, coffee maker, toaster and cooking items (e.g., pots, pans, dishes and utensils)

All guest housing reservation requests are submitted by emailing Student Housing & Guest Housing Office at csunguesthousing@csun.edu. Type “Guest housing” into the subject. In your email, include dates, your affiliation with the University (if you are a parent of a student living in the residence halls – please give your student’s name and CSUN ID #), and any details that may be required to verify availability. Since space is limited, early reservations are recommended. Reservations are made in the order in which they are received. Please note that due to limited space and demand, reservations cannot be confirmed any earlier than eight weeks prior to the arrival date.
Holiday & Commencement blackout dates
Guest housing suites are closed during winter break, spring break & the full week of commencement and cannot be rented during those times. Check the university calendar for those dates.
Check-in requirements
An email does not constitute a commitment of guest housing. Only a letter of confirmation will guarantee a guest housing reservation and must be presented at the time of check-in.
Check-in and check-out
Check-in at the Conference Services & Guest Housing Office during the following hours: Monday through Friday 1:30 pm. - 4:30 pm. The Conference Services Office is closed on all major holidays. Check-out time is 10:30 a.m. A late check-out needs to be pre-arranged prior to your last day or you will be charged for an additional night.
Parking permits are required in all university parking lots. Permits can be purchased from a service attendant in Parking Lot G4 or from a vending machine in G9.
