How to Report Phishing

If you learn of an active phishing website that is not already warning users, notify the three main browsers that it is deceptive and should be blocked. When a site is reported as deceptive the browser will display a warning before showing the page.


Firefox

  1. Select Help Report Deceptive Site.
  2. Paste in the URL of the phishing site.
  3. Select I am not a robot.
  4. Submit Report.

Internet Explorer

  1. Select Settings.
  2. Select Safety Report unsafe Website.
  3. Select “I think this is a phishing site”.
  4. Enter the Captcha code. 
  5. Submit.

Chrome & Safari

  1. Visit https://safebrowsing.google.com/safebrowsing/report_phish/?hl=en
  2. Paste in the URL of the phishing site. 
  3. Select I am not a robot.
  4. Submit Report.
