Self-Service Software Management for PCs and Macs
Software management options provide managed devices with the ability to install curated applications on your device. This allows for the installation and configuration without the need for administrative rights to your system. The following steps includes instructions for both PCs and Macs.
Software Center - PC
For PCs, the CSUN Software Center is used to install and configure software onto your managed Windows device.
To access:
- Navigate to the Start Menu.
- Search for 'Software Center' and select it.
Once launched, the available software displays:

- Select the software you'd like to install by clicking on it.
Available Software

Software Center - Mac
For Macs, CSUN Self Service is used to install and configure software onto your managed device.
To access:
- Navigate to the Applications folder on your device.
- Scroll down to 'Self Service'.
Once launched, the available software displays:

- Find the software you want to install and select the Install button.
