November 15: Legacy LDAP Decommission
As part of our ongoing efforts to enhance security and improve performance, we will be deprecating the legacy version of LDAP currently in use. This change is scheduled to take effect on November 15th .
To ensure a smooth transition and continued access to LDAP services, please make sure to update your configurations to use the Virtual IP (VIP) address of sdir.csun.edu:636 or sdirext.csun.edu:636 instead of hard-coded server names. This change is crucial to avoid any disruptions in service to your applications.

November 17: SOLAR Student Administration, Human Resources, and the Common Finance System
Start: Sunday, midnight
End: Sunday, 8:00 a.m.
Several computer systems managed by the CSU Chancellor’s Office (CO) will be unavailable due to scheduled maintenance beginning Sunday, November 17 from midnight to 8:00 a.m.
During this time, access to CSUN’s SOLAR Student Administration, Human Resources, and the Common Finance System will be unavailable. This will also impact SOLAR functionality in the CSUN mobile app and the following services frequently accessed by CSUN students, faculty, and staff:

• Add/Drop Classes
• View Grades
• Grade Rosters
• Class Rosters
• My Checklist
• Payments
• Degree Progress Reports
• Class Search
• HR Self Service Options
• Time & Labor and Absence Management
• Recruitment / Job Applications

• Employee Fee Waiver
This CO maintenance does not impact IT services such as Canvas, email, and Box.
