IT Update: Metro U-Pass Payment Link Remains Unavailable (Updated 09/10/25)
The Metro U-Pass payment link that students use to purchase a pass remains unavailable. We are working with the vendor and Cash Services to resolve this issue as quickly as possible.
During this time, a Metro U-pass may be purchased in person at the USU Ticket Office.

September 21: SOLAR Student Administration, Human Resources, and the Common Finance System
Start: Sunday, 12:01 a.m.
End: 6:00 a.m.
During this time, access to CSUN’s SOLAR Student Administration, Human Resources, and the Common Finance System will be unavailable. This will also impact SOLAR functionality in the CSUN mobile app and the following services frequently accessed by CSUN students, faculty, and staff:
- Student Center
- Enroll in Classes
- View Grades
- Grade Rosters
- Class Rosters
- My Checklist
- Payments
- Degree Progress Reports
- Class Search
- HR Self Service Options

During this planned service interruption, users will continue to be able to access Canvas, email, and other IT services.
