IT Alert: Office 365 Access Issues
Starting around 9:00 AM Pacific Time, we began experiencing issues that are affecting access to some Office 365 services.
Users may have difficulty signing in or may notice that Office 365 is slow to respond.
The vendor has implemented steps to improve access and expects performance to stabilize soon.
Students
All CSUN students can install the Microsoft Office Suite on up to five personal devices for free. To download the software, visit the Microsoft Office 365 Login, and log in using your CSUN email address and password.
Faculty & Staff
There are two new ways for CSUN faculty and staff to access the Microsoft Office Suite:
- Access the Office Online Suite from any web browser. To learn more, visit the New Ways to Access Microsoft Office Files webpage and go to the From a web browser section.
- Install the Office Apps on your iPhone or iPad. To learn more, visit the New Ways to Access Microsoft Office Files webpage and go to the From an iPhone or iPad section.
As part of these new Microsoft services, faculty and staff can now install the Microsoft Office Suite on up to five personal devices for free. To download the software, visit the Microsoft Office for Faculty and Staff Personal Devices webpage.
Training and Tutorials
All CSUN students, faculty and staff have access to the LinkedIn Learning library, which offers an extensive collection for Microsoft Office. To access the library, visit LinkedIn Learning and log in with your CSUN user ID and password. You can also visit the Microsoft Office Training and Tutorials website.
