Together, we can make CSUN a more inclusive place for all. Vote MVM!
Max Arias-Gomez (He/Him) | Slate: Matador Voices Matter
Hello fellow Matadors! My Name is Maximiliano Arias Gomez but please call me Max. I am running to be your next Upper Division Senator. As someone with little to no experience when it comes to any of this type of work, I’m ready to devote myself to bringing change to the campuswhere I feel students really flourish. As someone who works inside of the AS office as a front desk assistant, my tasks are different from those of the senators but I always notice the smiling faces when something that they’ve been working hard on finally gets approved because they are passionate about those changes. This made me feel inspired to join them in making a difference for the student body. So if you’d support me, I’d like to represent you as your Upper Division Senator to make changes to this campus that would improve your academic success; as well as having transparency with what AS Leadership does, along with creating opportunities for students to understand their resources. Vote MVM!

As a first-generation student, I am familiar with those difficulties. I have felt like I wasn’t good enough to be receiving higher education. But that is far from the truth. We all have a right to attain an undergraduate degree, while making our voices heard. I want to encourage people to speak up for what they believe is fair. I am grateful to be given the opportunity to run as your lower division senator. I want to be a voice for the students and help with raising the students' voices for the good of our community.
