Candidate Filing:

Elections Filing Opens Online - Tuesday February 11th, 8:00am

• All candidates must file online

Elections Filing Closes - Friday February 28th, 6:00pm

Election Packet Forms Submission Date - Friday February 28th, 5:00pm

All candidates must submit these forms:

• Academic Eligibility Check
• Clean Campaign Pledge
• Press Release Agreement
• Elections Candidate Agreement

Election Process:

Mandatory Candidate Orientation Meeting

• Day 1 - Tuesday March 11th
  • Session 1: 12:00pm
  • Sessions 2: 3:00pm
• Day 2 - Wednesday March 12th
  • Session 1: 10:00am
  • Sessions 2: 3:00pm
    • Candidate and/or campaign manager must attend orientation*
    • Make-up orientation: done upon appointment with the chair if needed*
    • Locations Thousand Oaks Room

Start of Campaign period - Thursday March 13th,

• Candidate may ONLY begin campaign after they are confirmed eligible to run for office and have attended the mandatory orientation

Debate - Thursday March 27th, 3:15pm at the Northridge Center

• President and Vice President candidates MUST attend. All other candidates are recommended to attend. 

Elections Kick-Off Event - Thursday April 8th, 11:00am to 3:00pm at Matador Square 

Voting:

Voting Opens - Tuesday April 8th, 2025 at 8:00am

Voting Closes - Thursday April 10th at 6:00pm

• Tuesday April 8th from 8:00am to 6:00pm
  • Location 1 - Campus Store
  • Location 2 - Cleary Walk
• Wednesday April 9th from 8:00am to 6:00pm
  • Location 1 - Library Lawn
  • Location 2 - Plaza del Sol
• Thursday April 10th from 8:00am to 6:00pm
  • Location 1 - Plaza del Sol

Election Results Reveal and Mixer - Thursday April 10th at 6:30pm at the Thousand Oaks room

Financial/Donation Disclosure Forms Due - Friday April 11th by 4:00pm

Club Competition:

Club Competition Participant Cut-off - Monday March 14th, 2025 at 8:00am

• Club or organization must be University and AS recognized and have a current agency account with AS to participate in the Club competition

Street Team:

Street Team Filing Opens - Friday February 28th at 8:00am

• All street team members must file online

Street Team Filing Closes - Friday March 14th at 6:00pm

Mandatory Orientation - Friday March 21st at 11:00am

• Street team member must attend orientation
• Make-up orientation done upon appointment with the Assistant Chair if needed
