Student swimming at the Student Recreation Center Pool

The SRC Aquatics Department values diversity, professionalism, safety, health and wellness.

This department oversees operations for the SRC Rec pool. It also offers a number of programs including swim lessons for all ages and skill levels, Red Cross Certification Courses and special poolside events. Pool-based programs like water basketball, water volleyball, log rolling and other sports are coordinated through SRC Intramural Sports in collaboration with Aquatics.

Parents, set your children up for life by enrolling them in weekly 25-minute swim lessons, no Student Recreation Center (SRC) membership or CSUN affiliation required! Your child can participate in some summer fun, while learning an important skill. They’ll be able to confidently breathe and move through the water, while you’ll get peace of mind that they can play safely.

How to Register: CSUN-Affiliated Individuals

Faculty, staff and students can use their CSUN credentials to sign into the SRC portal, regardless of whether they have an SRC membership. Once you are logged in, you can add your child to your profile as a dependent. Afterwards, you can return to the portal’s main page and select “Aquatics.” Then, purchase the class according to your desired timeframe and level.

How to Register: Individuals Not Affiliated with CSUN

Parents who are not affiliated with CSUN can create an account and register on the SRC portal. You will only be able to view and purchase summer children’s swim lessons on your portal. You will not be eligible for SRC membership or receive access to other SRC services, even after registration.
