Gender Justice LA (GJLA) is a Los Angeles-based non-profit organization working to build the collective power of the transgender community. Gender Justice LA operates several programs, including a campaign for affordable, quality healthcare, advocacy and education and community wellness programs.

 

Invisible Men has been created for Transmen and Transmasculine folks of all walks of life to share their own narratives in their own words. Transmen and Non-Binary transmasculine folks of color are unapologetically centered.

 

  • Trans* Lounge

    Trans* Lounge is the Los Angeles LGBT Center’s groundbreaking education, empowerment and social program dedicated to serving Los Angeles’ transgender community. Anyone who identifies as trans is welcome to become a member of Trans* Lounge. It’s free to join and once you are a member, all of their programs are free to attend. Some of their programs include: 

    • All About Estrogen/ All About Testosterone
    • Finding Your Female Voice/ Finding Your Male Voice
    • Trans*Surgery – Q&A with a Doctor About GRS

 

The mission of The TransLatin@ Coalition (TLC) is to advocate for the specific needs of the Trans Latin@ community that resides in the U.S.A. and to plan strategies that improve quality of life. Their vision is to amplify education and resources to promote the empowerment of Trans leaders.

The Sylvia Rivera Law Project works to guarantee that all people are free to self-determine gender identity and expression, regardless of income or race, and without facing harassment, discrimination or violence. SRLP’s Instagram!

Los Angeles LGBT Center offers the Transgender Economic Empowerment Project (TEEP) to help transgender women and men develop professional skills, find employment with trans-friendly employers and thrive in the workplace.

 

The National Center for Transgender Equality (NTCE) advocates to change policies and society to increase understanding and acceptance of transgender people.

APLA Health restores dignity and trust within underserved communities by providing world-class LGBTQ+ empowering healthcare, support services, and HIV specialty care.

APLA Health offers transgender health services, including primary medical care, gender affirming hormone therapy, mental health services, and more.

 

The Center for Transyouth Health and Development promotes healthy futures for transyouth by providing services, research, training and capacity building that is developmentally informed, affirmative, compassionate and holistic for gender non-conforming children and transyouth.

 

The Los Angeles Gender Center (LAGC) provides an environment of safety, support and understanding for exploring gender and sexuality.

 

The Los Angeles LGBT Center is Southern California’s largest and most comprehensive provider of healthcare for transgender and gender non-conforming people.

St. John’s Well Child and Family Center welcomes all patients regardless of gender identity, sexual orientation and/or presentation. They provide comprehensive transgender health services in a safe and welcoming environment where you are free to be yourself.

 

Trans Lifeline is a 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to the well-being of transgender people. Trans Lifeline volunteers are ready to respond to whatever support needs members of the community might have.
