Dilled Green Peas

In water Boil

  • Pour 20 OZ of Green Peas
  • Strain and Reserve 1/3 of the cooking water

Place into a bowl and add

  • ⅓ CUP of leftover cooking water
  • 1 TBSP of Salad Oil ( vegetable oil)
  • 1 TBSP of Lemon Juice
  • ¾ TSP of Dill Weed
  • ¼ TSP of Dried Basil
  • 1 Garlic Clove
  • ½ TSP of Salt
  • ½ TSP of Pepper
  • Mix
  • Chill for 10 minutes
  • Discard the Garlic from the Mixture
  • Add 1 Cup of Celery
  • 6 Lettuce Leaves
  • 1 Hard-boiled egg
