Dilled Green Peas
In water Boil
- Pour 20 OZ of Green Peas
- Strain and Reserve 1/3 of the cooking water
Place into a bowl and add
- ⅓ CUP of leftover cooking water
- 1 TBSP of Salad Oil ( vegetable oil)
- 1 TBSP of Lemon Juice
- ¾ TSP of Dill Weed
- ¼ TSP of Dried Basil
- 1 Garlic Clove
- ½ TSP of Salt
- ½ TSP of Pepper
- Mix
- Chill for 10 minutes
- Discard the Garlic from the Mixture
- Add 1 Cup of Celery
- 6 Lettuce Leaves
- 1 Hard-boiled egg
