The Tourism, Hospitality, and Recreation Management Association (THRMA) provides a support group for Recreation and Tourism Management (RTM) Major students; both graduate and undergraduate. THRMA, united by the combination of various levels of skills, abilities, and diverse background of RTM students and the participation of faculty and alumni strive to do the following: guide students through the program and into career paths, maintain and improve communication among faculty and alumni, and promote activities that enhance a sense of well-being and unity. THRMA provides current workshops and conference information for students and promotes attendance to National Recreation and Parks Association (NRPA), California Parks and Recreation Society (CPRS), and other professional recreation organizations and events.
