Professional Liability Insurance
1. Approximately $35/year; Select a Professional Liability provides coverage for $1,000,000/claim & 3,000,000 annual aggregate
2. Students can choose their own insurance company, e.g., HPSO; Proliability; NAADAC)
Program Clothing
1. CSUN MSAT will make every effort to provide at least 1 program polo shirt, depending upon budget constraints. Additional clothing is not required, but students do have the option of purchasing additional clothing.
Travel
1. Most clinical sites are within a 30-mile radius of the CSUN campus.
2. Students are responsible for travel to and from their clinical sites and events related to MSAT coursework. This will vary depending upon each student’s mode of travel, distance from each site, etc. Students are NOT responsible for travel from their clinical site to away games.
3. Clinical experiences are required each semester/session. Students are expected to complete 10-20 hours of clinical experience each of the first 5 semesters/sessions, and a minimum of 35 hours per week for the immersive clinical experience. Please contact the program director for more information regarding clinical experience expectations.

Criminal Background Checks

All clinical sites require criminal background checks and most sites will cover these costs. Students will NOT be required to attend sites that do not cover costs related to criminal background checks or costs related to additional training.
