Ingredients

- 3 cloves of minced garlic
- 1 cup of chopped onion
- 1 lb of peeled and chopped carrots
- 1 tsp of ginger
- 1 tsp of dried thyme leaves
- 1 tsp of salt
- 1 tsp of black pepper
- 6 cups of low sodium chicken broth
