Orange Marmalade Nut Bread
Ingredients
- 2 cups sifted flour
- 1 1⁄2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1⁄2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄2 cup milk
- 1 medium egg
- 1 tablespoon melted butter
- 1⁄3 cup Matador Marmalade
- 1⁄2 cup walnuts, chopped
Serves 15 slice
Directions
- In a bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
- In a separate bowl, combine milk, egg and melted butter. Add this to flour mixture, then blend.
- Fold in the marmalade and nuts. Mix well until dough is soft.
- Spoon batter in lightly greased 9x5x3-inch loaf pan.
- Bake at 350° F for 1 hour and 40 minutes. To test readiness, insert a toothpick; the bread is done if the toothpick comes out clean.
