Student Awards & Scholarships
The Business Law Faculty and Alumni Scholarship is awarded to a Business Law major who has demonstrated academic excellence and financial need. Seniors graduating in Spring 2025/Summer 2025 are not eligible to apply.
Amount of award: $1,000.
The award recognizes excellence in academic achievement in Business Law. Qualified students receive a certificate signed by the Department Chair and the College Dean, and a Gold Cord to be worn at graduation. Students are honored by the department faculty at a luncheon which takes place at the end of each academic year.
This award is designed to support students with financial need who excel in the department's upper-division courses. Priority will be given to those students who demonstrate academic success for financial hardship.

The David R. Lazarony Memorial Scholarship is awarded to a BSBA in Real Estate major who has demonstrated academic excellence, financial need, and a dedication to current and future community service. Seniors graduating in Spring 2025/Summer 2025 are not eligible to apply.

This scholarship is given to a student who has demonstrated academic excellence, community engagement, financial need, and an understanding of the importance of ethics in the field of real estate. Seniors graduating in Spring/Summer 2025 are not eligible to apply.

Students are honored by the department faculty at an Honors Celebration, which takes place at the end of each academic year.
The Jeff and Valerie Goyer Social Justice Scholarship is awarded to a Business Law major who has a demonstrated commitment to social justice and/or community service and financial need. Seniors graduating in Spring 2025/Summer 2025 are not eligible to apply.
Amount of award: $1,000.
This scholarship is given to a Business law major who has demonstrated financial need and community service, and first-generation college students with a preference to students who are parents to young children. Seniors graduating in Spring/Summer 2025 are not eligible to apply.

The Adamson Ahdoot LLP scholarship grant is an opportunity to assist students who need financial support. Five aspiring attorneys will receive $5,000 each, amounting to $25,000.
Through this grant, the firm strives to recognize young legal professionals dedicated to academic excellence and community service.
