Registered Dietitian Consultant
- Part-Time
Responsible for patient care in nutrition assessment/counseling of clients, coordinates Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) workshops, Implements wellness clinic programs and workshops, writes and presents reports related to program or administrative specialty as needed, and performs basic research and statistical analysis.- To apply go to the Campus HR employment page at http://www.csun.edu/careers/

Special Meals Production Team Member – Thousand Oaks, CA
- Full-Time | The Medical Kitchen (TMK)
TMK is hiring a Special Meals Production Team Member to help prepare and package medically tailored meals for clients with food allergies and dietary restrictions. This role follows strict allergen and food safety protocols while portioning, labeling, and packaging meals.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of common food allergens
- Food Handler’s Certification or willingness to obtain (paid by TMK)
- Ability to follow instructions, work efficiently, lift up to 50 lbs, and stand for long periods
- Kitchen or food production experience preferred

The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, through its many association groups, offers a variety of scholarships and educational stipends to individuals pursuing undergraduate and advanced degrees in dietetics or food and nutrition related areas. - Center for Discovery
- The Diet Technician consults with the Registered Dietitian to ensure implementation of the best standard of nutrition and dietary services. Responsibilities include dietary support, grocery budget allocation, client menu planning, maintaining a clean and well stocked kitchen, cooking and baking as needed, and appropriately discerning between appropriate and inappropriate client eating behaviors. - CNS contracts with the City of Los Angeles, Department of Aging and Los Angeles County Area agency on Aging to provide food safety monitoring, nutrition education, and CalFresh Healthy Living Programs (CFHLP) to Senior’s at congregate Dining Centers. Full job description can be found here.
