To learn more about the NSE program, please sign up for a Study Abroad & Exchange Information Session.
How to apply
After attending the information session, we encourage you to review the NSE website to explore campus options and narrow down school choices. From there, schedule an appointment with the CSUN NSE Advisors to discuss your options and start an application.
The NSE application is a two-step process:

Students will submit an NSE application through NSE.org to identify campus choices.

Students will submit a CSUN NSE application through myCSUNglobe to satisfy the NSE application fee and complete necessary signature documents.
BOTH applications must be completed in order for the CSUN NSE Advisors to process your application for placement.
You can choose up to five colleges on your NSE application. However, if accepted you will only be placed at one school, so it is important that you list your schools in order of preference.
Deadlines
The priority closing date is the second Friday in February. It is strongly advised that you submit your application by the priority deadline.
The FINAL closing date is the final Friday in February.
Application fee
There is a non-refundable application fee which is currently $250*. This fee must be paid through the myCSUNglobe application. The NSE Central Office charges CSUN for all student placements, which is why the fee is charged to NSE applicants.
