Art and Science of Human Movement

CSUN dance students have the opportunity to perform and create new choreographic works in the annual fall and spring dance concerts held at Plaza del Sol Performance Hall. Other opportunities to perform in productions offered in the Theater, Music and Fashion Departments as well as at community events located on and off campus are available to CSUN dance students. Dance at CSUN deeply integrates artistry that is embedded in an awareness of the scientific evidence that enhances performance.

Annual Dance Concerts

The CSUN Dance Program proudly produces a fall and spring professional-level concert as well as provides other performance opportunities on and off campus. CSUN dancers gain invaluable performance experiences and are well-prepared to enter the professional dance field.
