ME Industry Advisory Council (IAC)

Mission

To provide advice and support to the department regarding the mission, vision, strategy directions of the department, program educational objectives of each program, and meeting the customer needs for the future.

Purpose of the Industry Advisory Council 

• Advise and support the ME department on its mission, vision, and strategy directions
• Serve as one of the department’s constituencies and provide feedback about the educational objectives of each program in the department
• Advise the department faculty and students on the changing needs of industry and the required skills of graduates
• Support the department in building partnerships with industry and build bridges between students and internships/jobs.
