Returning Admissions

We're so glad to see you again. Returning to school is a big decision, and we want to celebrate your resilience and perseverance. On our end, we want to help make your return to CSUN as smooth as possible. So let's get started.

Returning Undergraduate Student

Your path back to CSUN depends on whether:

  • You left the school in good standing (or on academic notice) and have not enrolled in CSUN courses for three consecutive semesters or
  • You were previously disqualified because your GPA fell below the floor listed for your class level for two consecutive semesters.

You are considered in good standing if you had a cumulative total GPA of 2.0 or higher at the end of your last semester. If you are in good standing but did not enroll at CSUN for three consecutive semesters, you will need to apply for admission. Visit our Returning Undergraduate Student page for more information.

If you were previously disqualified for academic reasons, you must demonstrate academic achievements or acquired skills that support your case for a successful return to the university. If you meet these requirements, you can reapply to CSUN. Visit our Returning Undergraduate Student page for more information.
