Welcome to Student Outreach and Recruitment (SOAR). We’re here to help you imagine your future as a Matador and support you throughout the process of joining the CSUN family.
Here, you can arrange to meet with preadmissions counselors, explore options for campus tours, and connect with our outreach interns (during spring and fall semesters) to learn the ins and outs of CSUN student life directly from CSUN students.
In-person and virtual preadmissions appointments are available year round, and we encourage you to learn more about CSUN by taking a guided tour or exploring our beautiful campus on your own via a self-guided tour. You can also check out our comprehensive virtual tour, available in both English and Spanish.

Our campus is spread across 356 acres in the heart of the San Fernando Valley in Los Angeles. Come browse among the orange trees (virtually or in person) and learn about all the resources and perks that come with being a Matador.
