Scholarship List

Herbert W. Larson Scholarship - $2,500 – 1 Recipient

The following criteria for each of these CSUN/NCOD scholarships will be considered by the Selection Committee in evaluating applications of those who submit applications.

  1. The minimum CSUN cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) is 2.50.
  2. Student must currently be an NCOD junior or senior.

Some of the qualities that will be taken into consideration in selecting the recipient of this scholarship:

  1. Demonstrated leadership qualities.
  2. High moral character and good citizenship.
  3. Expressed interest in working with others in a leadership capacity after graduation. (Your application must indicate how you intend to use your leadership skills after college and how you intend to use the scholarship itself.)
  4. Applicants may receive this scholarship only once.

Micki Zinkovich - $1,500 – 1 Recipients

The following criteria for each of these CSUN/NCOD scholarships will be considered by the Selection Committee in evaluating applications of those who submit applications.

  1. The minimum CSUN cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) is 2.50.
  2. A minimum of 12 of undergraduate work or 9 units of graduate work must be successfully completed. 

Some of the qualities that will be taken into consideration in selecting the recipient of this scholarship:

  1. Demonstrated leadership qualities.
  2. High moral character and good citizenship.
  3. Expressed interest in the field of Radio- Television, Media, Journalism, Theater and/or related field st CSUN.
  4. Applicant must demonstrate financial need. 

Reseda Woman’s Club Scholarship - $2,500 – 2 Recipients

The following criteria for each of these CSUN/NCOD scholarships will be considered by the Selection Committee in evaluating applications of those who submit applications.

  1. The minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) from high school and for the first semester at CSUN is 3.00.
  2. Must be a recent deaf or hard of hearing high school graduate and currently a first year (Freshman/
  3. Sophomore) NCOD student at CSUN.

Some of the qualities that will be taken into consideration in selecting the recipient of this scholarship:

  1. Above average score(s) on college entrance exams.
  2. Demonstrated potential to succeed academically and plan to receive a bachelor’s degree.
  3. Successful participation and effective leadership in student government, clubs, athletics, drama,
  4. and/or other special activities during high school.
  5. Demonstrated ability to get along with others, effective communication, and leadership skills.
  6. Intention to persist and graduate from CSUN.
  7. Applicant must demonstrate financial need.
