The graduate faculty is comprised of working artists, including members of the tenured/tenure-track faculty and visiting artists, writers, and critics from the Los Angeles international art community. Together, they form a diverse, experienced, and supportive faculty. Master of Fine Arts
The Master of Fine Arts degree program in Visual Arts is the terminal degree for practicing artists and requires a minimum of 60 units. Students accepted into the program are encouraged to be registered full time, taking a minimum of 9 units per semester.
Master of Arts
The Master of Arts degree program in Visual Arts is an advanced degree, requiring a minimum of 30 units. Students accepted into the program are encouraged to be registered full time, taking a minimum of 9 units per semester.
