CSU Health Policy Conference

Hello Students,
CSUN's Department of Health Sciences is pleased to announce an exciting opportunity for undergraduate and graduate students to participate in a Health Policy Conference in Sacramento. Health Sciences students from multiple California State Universities will attend this 2-day meeting scheduled for Mon April 21 - Wed April 23, 2025. The primary goals of the conference are to:

• Heighten student interest in and understanding of the healthcare policy-making process.
• To expand student exposure to career options in health policy and public health.

During the conference, students will be introduced to public health officials and legislators who will describe the governmental process, health policy issues, and public health challenges for the future. The conference is funded by the California Department of Public Health and includes airfare to Sacramento, a two-night hotel room stay, all food, and transportation while in Sacramento.
