Accreditation
Academic programs in the College of HHD undergo rigorous accreditation processes. Each program is responsible for adhering to the requirements of their respective accrediting bodies. The university is accredited through the Western Association of Schools and Colleges.

- The Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) at California State University Northridge is accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Audiology Education (ACAE) for the period of February 7, 2023, to February 28, 2027.
- The Master of Science (M.S.) education program in speech-language pathology is accredited by the Council on Academic Accreditation in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology for the period of from April 1, 2021 through March 31, 2029.
