Matador Bricks
Celebrate your CSUN journey with a commemorative brick placed proudly below the iconic Matador Statue. Each 4” x 8” brick can be engraved with a personalized inscription, honoring your accomplishments, marking a milestone, or paying tribute to someone special.
Purchase a brick individually or as a group to recognize students, alumni, families, employees, campus organizations, athletic teams, or fellow Matador fans. Leave your legacy and become a permanent part of CSUN’s story.
Location: Bricks are installed in front of the Matador Statue. The exact placement is determined by a member of the Alumni staff and dependent upon on the current pattern and the number of new bricks being installed in the batch.
Description: Bricks are 4” x 8”, made of red brick with black etching.
Inscription: Donors may submit their own custom personalized inscription. Inscriptions can be up to 2 lines of text, all caps, max characters per line is 20, including spaces. Special characters or symbols (hearts, stars, greek letters, etc.) are not available/allowed. Inscriptions can be submitted at time of purchase, or a staff member will follow up prior to installation.
Installation Timeline: Pavers are installed twice a year, during school breaks in January and July.
Donation Amount: $250 each. Installment pledges are available. The brick will not be scheduled for installment until the full gift amount is received. Bricks may be purchased by a single individual or crowd sourced together from a group. Proceeds are 100% tax deductible and support student scholarships and alumni engagement initiatives.
