Become an Alumni Legacy Partner

At CSUN, students come from every background and bring with them extraordinary talent, ambition, and determination. Many work multiple jobs, balance family responsibilities, and overcome financial challenges, all while pursuing their degrees. Scholarships relieve the financial burden and give students the freedom to focus on what matters most: learning, growing, and preparing to lead.

Even though CSUN remains one of the most affordable options in higher education, the cost of tuition, books, housing, and daily living can still be overwhelming. For too many students, financial pressure is the biggest obstacle standing between them and graduation.  To provide critical support and help close the gap, each year, our Legacy Partners help to award multiple scholarships to students in the following categories:
 

• First Generation Scholarship - supports students who are the first in their family to pursue a college degree. 
• Legacy Scholarship - supports the children or grandchildren of CSUN alumni following the family tradition and pursuing a degree at CSUN.
• Graduate Scholarship – supports CSUN alumni who choose to return to CSUN to continue their education at their alma mater beyond the undergraduate level.

A scholarship can be a powerful vote of confidence. When students know that alumni believe in them, they are inspired to achieve even more. Partner with us to empower the next generation of Matadors.
