Family Studies

Minor

Our Family Studies minor gives you a foundation for professional work that strengthens family resiliency and advances the common good in a diverse and changing world.

Why Minor in Family Studies?

Family studies offers a theoretical and practical understanding of the family as a social institution and an important social system.

Knowledge about families and working with families has become a critical area of concern for health, social service and education professionals. A Family Studies minor is an excellent fit for students studying the health professions, liberal arts and education.
