Interdisciplinary Study

The Classical Greek and Roman Civilization minor draws from a variety of fields. You'll take classes on philosophy, art and architecture and ancient history. You'll draw on the strength of CSUN's departments to receive a holistic view of ancient Greek and Roman civilizations.

Accessible Classes

All courses in this program are conducted in English, making it available to all. While knowledge of Latin and Greek may be helpful, it is not required.

Study Abroad

The California State University International Programs offer eligible students the opportunity to study abroad in one of 18 countries, including at two in Italy. Depending on your major, this may be an excellent choice for you.

What You'll Learn

Develop your critical thinking and research skills while studying ancient Greek and Rome. The minor will give you a broad view of the field while allowing you to choose some of your classes.
