What You'll Learn

Our honors courses offer a variety of benefits tailored to prepare you for the dynamic and complex business world.

Data Literacy helps you develop the ability to evaluate and interpret data critically, a crucial skill in a data-rich era. Through practical assignments, you will learn to make informed decisions using data analysis, apply data analytics techniques to real-world scenarios, and gain hands-on experience with analytics tools. These skills will prepare you for business challenges and enhance your marketability to employers.

Systems Thinking for Organizations equips you with the skills to solve complex organizational problems holistically, think strategically, innovate effective solutions, and interpret complex situations adaptively. Enhancing your problem-solving and adaptive response abilities will prepare you for leadership roles.

Capstone: Small Business Planning and Growth offers you a way to integrate your knowledge across business disciplines, apply consultancy methods to real small businesses, develop strategic growth plans, and engage with the community. These skills will prepare you for consultancy, entrepreneurship, and management roles while fostering an understanding of social responsibility in business. In this course, you’ll work with real clients from the Los Angeles region.
