Which Surveys Require Review?

Not every survey needs to go through the review process. Generally speaking, larger surveys directed toward broad populations require review by this committee. The examples below should provide you with a sense of which surveys do and do not need to go through the review process. Surveys from requesters external to CSUN, or surveys designed for promotional/marketing purposes, will generally NOT be approved. If you are unsure if your survey requires review, please contact your committee member representative listed in the "Your Committee Member Representatives" accordion on this web page.

Examples of surveys that DO NOT need to go through the review process
