Program Preference Questionnaire
This section is included in the MSW Department Application. Applicants will be asked to identify and explain your cohort preference.
- Two-year (on-campus): You are only interested in the 2-year program.
- Three-year (on-campus): You are only interested in the 3-year program.
- Either, prefer Two-year (on-campus): You would prefer for us to place you in the 2-year cohort.
- Either, prefer Three-year (on-campus): You would prefer for us to place you in the 3-year cohort.
- Either, no preference: A cohort is selected for the applicant by the program coordinator

Educational Background
This section is included in the MSW Department Application.
- Please list the post-secondary institutions you have attended, starting with the most recent.
- Attach unofficial transcripts from all post-secondary institutions attended.
- Current and former CSU Northridge applicants: Upload your unofficial CSUN transcripts if you have not attended other post-secondary institutions after graduation. No official transcripts are required.
Coursework GPA Calculator
The GPA calculator is a tool used to calculate the last 60 semester units or 90 quarter units of coursework completed. Tip: have copies of your unofficial transcripts on hand to complete this section of the application.
- Attach unofficial transcripts from all post-secondary institutions attended.
- Upload this document and the rest of your materials with your application.
- Enter your most recent completed units first and work backward.
- Do not include "in-progress courses" if you are currently enrolled.
- Do not enter credit hours or grades for classes taken Pass/No Pass.

Test Scores
Your program does not require any information on test scores.
Resume
Each applicant is required to submit a resume to showcase their paid and/or volunteer experience. Please submit a recent resume that includes the total number of hours worked for each position. For your current employment, total the number of hours as of the end of the week prior to submitting your application.
