Summer JumpStart
Established in 2024, OUR hosted its first-ever Summer JumpStart (SJS) research training program. This groundbreaking initiative aims to equip undergraduate students with essential tools and knowledge to excel in faculty mentored research and creative scholarship across many disciplines at CSUN.
The two-week half-day intensive SJS program provided students with paid opportunities to build foundational research skills in one of four core areas: biological skills, qualitative methods, quantitative methods, and coding.
