<h4><span style="color: #ba1b0d;"><b>Research and Sponsored Projects</b></span></h4>
<p><b>Michael Eller</b> (Chemistry &amp; Biochemistry) received $115,200 from Intel Corporation in support of a project entitled &#8220;Nano-Scale Molecular Analysis of Materials for Intel” and $83,500 from the Semiconductor Research Corporation in support of a project entitled &#8220;Nano-Projectile SIMS for Evaluating Molecular Homogeneity in Ultra-Small Domains.&#8221;</p>
<p><b>Kim Goldberg-Roth</b> (Strength United) received $25,000 from the Northeast Valley Health Corporation in support of a project entitled &#8220;ACE&#8217;s PRACTICE Grant,” $90,000 from the California Office of Emergency Services in support of a project entitled &#8220;Sexual Assault Response Team (XS) Program,&#8221; and $92,000 from Los Angeles County in support of a project entitled &#8220;County Victim Services (XC) Program.&#8221;</p>
<p><b>Daniel Katz</b> (Mathematics) received $397,371 from the National Science Foundation in support of a project entitled &#8220;CIF: Small: RUI: Highly Nonlinear and Uncorrelated Structures for Communications and Sensing.&#8221;</p>
<p><b>Jonathan Kelber</b> (Biology) received $326,250 from the National Institutes of Health in support of a project entitled &#8220;Spatiotemporal Mechanisms of EIF5A1/2-Mediated Metastasis in Triple-Negative Breast Cancer.&#8221;</p>
<p><b>Wonjun Lee</b> (Computer Science) received $44,000 from Sandia National Laboratories in support of a project entitled &#8220;Telemetry Analytics to Secure Container-Based Cloud Computing.&#8221;</p>
<p><b>Cindy Malone</b>, <b>Gilberto Flores</b> (Biology) and <b>Gabriela Chavira</b> (Psychology) received $2,777,700 from the California Institute for Regenerative Medicine in support of a project entitled &#8220;CSUN CIRM COMPASS Training Program (N-COMPASS).&#8221;</p>
<p><b>Rasoul Narimani</b> (Electrical and Computer Engineering) received $149,178 from the National Science Foundation in support of a project entitled &#8220;CRII: CPS: Leveraging Convex Relaxation Techniques to Improve Power System Surveillance.&#8221;</p>
<p><b>Jennifer Wolfe</b> (Secondary Education) received $39,090 from the Regents of the University of California in support of a project entitled &#8220;California Subject Matter Project Grant for the Cal State Northridge Writing Project.&#8221;</p>
<p><b>Li Ye</b> (Chemistry and Biochemistry) received $165,933 from the National Science Foundation in support of a project entitled &#8220;An Investigation of Synergistic Effects of Discipline-based Growth Mindset and Effective Learning Strategies Interventions in Gateway Chemistry Courses.&#8221;</p>
