Welcome to Project Rebound

Project Rebound at California State University, Northridge is dedicated to supporting the higher education and successful reintegration of individuals who have been formerly incarcerated. As part of the CSU Project Rebound Consortium, our program provides comprehensive academic, and personal support to help students prepare, apply, enroll, and graduate from CSUN. We offer services and create bridges to academic advising, financial counseling, peer mentoring, tutoring, and career placement, as well as assistance with basic needs, housing, mental health services, and job recruitment. With a belief in the value and power of lived experience, Project Rebound fosters a welcoming and empowering community, helping students overcome barriers, build leadership skills, and achieve their educational and personal goals. By making higher education accessible and supportive, Project Rebound not only transforms individual lives but also strengthens families and communities, creating pathways to meaningful employment and reducing recidivism for a safer, more just society.
