</p><p>Academics, sports, culture and hobbies… Any kind of club you could want was represented at the annual “Meet the Clubs” event on Sept. 13 and 14. Students filled the aisles between booths as they talked to club representatives and browsed the tables in the white tents set up on the Sierra Quad lawn.</p>
<p>Members of the Ballet Folklórico Aztlán set up a booth at the event. The performance group regularly presents traditional dances from different regions of Mexico. The dancers decorated their booth with their colorful costumes. Club member Eloisa Hernandez, a kinesiology major in her junior year, says taking part in Ballet Folklórico Aztlán makes her feel connected in different aspects of her life.</p>
<p>“I know for me, practices with [Ballet Folklorico] really lets me feel like I’m a part of CSUN. Also on a cultural level, it really makes me feel in touch with my culture.” said Hernandez.</p>
<p>With nearly 300 clubs and organizations offered at CSUN, students with specific hobbies or interests can find like-minded friends. Check out the photos of this year’s event.</p>
