Program Description

The General Education Honors program provides an enriched educational experience for academically motivated Matadors.
As the largest honors program on campus, the General Education Honors Program offers high-achieving CSUN undergraduate students from all majors an enriched academic experience, through Honors courses, scholarship, research, and co-curricular opportunities. 

Students in the GE Honors program enroll in special sections of the university’s required general education courses. These classes are taught by outstanding CSUN faculty and often have a lower student-to-faculty ratio. Plus, they’re engaging, challenging and fun! For each Honors course you complete, you’ll receive a special designation on your transcript. In addition, if you meet certain requirements, you will be awarded a GE Honors Certificate at the time of graduation.

Incoming freshmen, transfers and current CSUN students with a GPA of 3.5 or higher are encouraged to join.
