Welcome to the Business Honors Program!
The Business Honors Program is designed to recognize students who have demonstrated high academic standards and who want to continue to add to their intellectual curiosity and multidisciplinary creativity. Our students continue their record of excellence as Business and Economics majors in the David Nazarian College of Business and Economics at California State University, Northridge. The Business Honors Program offers rigorous courses that emphasize communication, collaboration, complex problem solving, and leadership skills that contribute to their lifelong learning. CSUN students who have fulfilled all the Business Honors requirements graduate with a degree in Business Honors in addition to their primary Business or Economics degree.
Program Director's Message"Greetings, and welcome to the Business Honors Program website. As program director, I am thrilled to introduce you to our exceptional program and community of scholars. Our program exclusively selects, nurtures, and guides some of the most promising Business and Economics students at CSUN. Business Honors are dedicated to recognizing and cultivating exceptional academic prowess, intellectual curiosity, and interdisciplinary skills." |
"Our students, within the David Nazarian College of Business and Economics, consistently excel in their fields after graduation. They perform outstanding academically, develop robust business acumen and sharp critical thinking, are trained to be systems thinkers in a growing, highly complex world, and expand their leadership and collaboration skills that contribute to lifelong learning and societal advancement. Upon meeting all the Business Honors requirements, our students graduate with a second-degree option in Business Honors.
Our program fosters a dynamic and supportive cohort environment where motivated individuals empower each other. Upon graduation, our students join some of the top companies worldwide, including Apple, Amazon, Boeing, EY, Deloitte, Goldman Sachs, Google, KPMG, PWC, and Walt Disney Company.
Our students are supported through scholarships, priority registration, and smaller classes taught by the best professors in the college. Leadership development activities, mentoring, community service initiatives, and direct engagement with top employers, such as Industry Night, are integral to our program. These social activities build lasting bonds and friendships among future leaders, complemented by the unwavering support from advisors, alumni, professors, mentors, and peers. It truly takes a village, and we are profoundly grateful to all these individuals.
We deeply appreciate the continued support and commitment of our sponsors, alumni, and partner organizations. Their contributions enable us to maintain our program's high standards and offer unparalleled opportunities to our students. Together, we are shaping future leaders of our society.
I am humbled and privileged to lead this exceptional program. I am immensely proud of our students and their unique talents, and highly confident they will make significant contributions to the prosperity and advancement of our society.
Prospective students, I invite you to apply to the Business Honors Program and join our community of excellence! We will forge the future toward a more holistic and inclusive world, together. I look forward to meeting you."
Warm Regards,
Dr. Silvina Bamrungpong
