Largest Chicano Studies Department in the Nation

At California State University, Northridge (CSUN), we pride ourselves on housing the largest Chicano Studies department in the nation. Our department is home to 25 full-time and 35 part-time professors, offering approximately 170 class sections each semester. This extensive program provides a comprehensive education in Chicano/a culture, history, social science, language, and the arts.
