Getting Involved at the HERE Center as a Faculty Member

Group of faculty

CSUN Faculty members are integral to our center’s mission of advancing health equity through research, education, and community partnerships. Depending on your interests and preferred level of commitment, you can choose to apply and become a HERE Center Faculty Affiliate or Faculty Researcher.

Becoming a Faculty Affiliate:

As a HERE Center Faculty Affiliate, you will join a dedicated and interdisciplinary community of faculty who are passionate about advancing health equity through research, education, and community-academic partnerships. Affiliates benefit from opportunities such as supplemental and conference travel funding eligibility, increased visibility for their work, networking with faculty and community collaborators, and the potential to apply for HERE Center Researcher status. We welcome all faculty at CSUN whose research aligns with our mission to improve health outcomes for historically marginalized communities.

  • Increased visibility via the HERE center website (e.g., research biography and dissemination of your research to be included on the HERE center website).
