Thriving in Graduate School: Essential Skills for Academic Success and Well-Being
Speaker:
Dr. Chunying Jin
Date: Thursday, December 5th
Time: 3:00 pm

Location: Via Zoom

Workshop Description: Navigating graduate school can be overwhelming due to the demanding nature of coursework, internships, research, and professional skill development. These demands often leave students feeling stretched thin, with little time for self-care or personal life. This workshop is designed to help graduate students develop the essential skills needed to achieve academic success while maintaining balance and well-being. Attendees will have the opportunity to reassess their understanding of effective study strategies, learn to identify and access resources to overcome potential barriers, and explore strategies for cultivating resilience and avoiding burnout. Attendees will learn how to shift from merely surviving to thriving, paving the way for a graduate school experience that supports growth and personal fulfillment.
