U.S. Constitution Requirement

The requirement of competence in U.S. Constitution can be met in two ways: by course or by examination. An equivalent course taken at another university or college will be accepted as satisfying this requirement.

CSUN courses which satisfy this requirement are:

• Political Science 155 or 355
• Chicano Studies 260 or 445
• Africana Studies 161
• Asian American Studies 347
• Religious Studies 255

In addition to the possibility of completing courses offered by CSUN and equivalent courses elsewhere, candidates may also take an examination at other institutions on the principles of the United States Constitution to meet this statutory requirement for certification in California.
