Economics

Minor

Build your analytical skills and learn how businesses — and people — make decisions. Understand how changes in technology, policy and market circumstances impact entire industries and our own lives.

Why Minor in Economics?

At its core, economics applies scientific methods to understand resource allocation. By studying economics, you'll be able to understand how and why individuals, businesses and governments make the decisions they do.

A minor in economics complements other business majors. It's also a great fit for non-business majors looking to strengthen analytical skills and understand consumer behavior. A strong foundation in economics will serve you well in a number of careers, in both the public and private sectors.
