The objective of the Fundraising Committee is to actively seek contributions from community partners and plan activities that will generate funds for the organization. The committee will be responsible for planning at least one fundraising activity/event per semester.
The Advocacy and Political Issues Committee. The objective of the Advocacy and Political Issues Committee is to generate position statements (written documentation) in response to various social justice issues or incidents occurring on campus or throughout the California State University system. This committee should be connected to the student groups with a Black focus (i.e., Student Quality Education (SQE), Black Student Union, and the Black Leaders Council), and the staff and faculty union chapters on campus.

The objective of the Nominations and Elections Committee is to oversee the nominations and elections process, including assisting with recruitment and preparing the slate of candidates for the membership vote. This committee will be responsible for creating and maintaining a process which determines financial need and sponsorship support for member dues.
