Radiologic Technology

Certificate - Advanced Professional Development (Non-Credit)

Acquire the knowledge and expertise to perform advanced scans with Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), or both.

Why study Radiologic Technology ?

In hospitals across the country, radiologic technologists provide frontline diagnostic data to doctors and other important specialists. CSUN's MRI and CT certificates prepare students for all aspects of this rapidly growing field. Among the nation's few online radiologic-science programs, these certificates provide hands-on clinical experience and feature a robust didactic component in class.

Upon successful completion of both programs, students:

  • May qualify to take the advanced certification examination offered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • Will be awarded 83 continuing education units (CEUs) which will be recorded on the CSUN transcript

Why study Radiologic Technology at CSUN?

  1. a diploma or degree from an accredited radiologic-technology or nuclear-medicine program
  2. a national certificate in radiography or nuclear medicine from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and/or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board

This program is offered through self-support. Visit Tseng College for more information.
