How to Make Low Calorie Crepes
Ingredients
- 1/2 Cup Flour
- 2 Eggs
- 1/2 Teaspoon Baking Powder
- 1/2 Cup Milk
- 3/4 Cup Water
- Dash Salt 1/2 Teaspoon (for cooking the crepe)
Method
- Mix all ingredients in blender or processor until well blended. Strain and let sit to allow bubbles to subside
- Using a non-stick pan, heated on moderately high flame, pour about 2 tablespoons of batter into skillet, rotating to form a circle about 7 inches in diameter.
- 3. Brown until edges begin to curl and brown and top is slightly set. Turn and brown other side if desired or remove to a damp towel or paper towel. Cool. These may be stored separated by wax paper in refrigerator or freezer if not used immediately.
Makes 12 crepes. One crepe is 35 calories.
