Vana Khachatourian (She/Her)
Strengths: Futuristic, Strategic, Activator, Discipline, Significance

Vana is a CSUN homegrown first-generation professional where she earned both her Bachelor's degree in Child & Adolescent Development and Master's degree in Educational Psychology with an emphasis on Development, Learning, Instruction and Evaluation. Prior to her role in Student Affairs, she was a Lead Data Consultant in the Office of Institutional Research at CSUN with a decade of institutional knowledge. Vana has served in various committees and working groups, such as the COVID Attestation and Operations Working Group, Veteran's Student Success Advisory Committee and served as the Co-Chair for the CSUN Survey Administration Committee. Throughout the years she had the opportunity to work along aside and support multiple divisions across the CSUN campus on data literacy, data accessibility and assessment. This allowed Vana to gain a holistic perspective of CSUN as whole and value the power of collaboration for student success. She believes in optimizing and showcasing the great work done by colleagues through promoting efficient strategies, professional development and open communication. Vana currently resides in Granada Hills, California with her daughter and husband. She enjoys listening all sorts of music specially international music, dancing, walking and hosting parties and close gatherings with family, friends and colleagues.
